A Walking Treasure Hunt at
Burley in the New Forest.
The Burley Inn, The Cross, Burley, Ringwood,
Hampshire BH24 4AB.
Meet at the Burley Inn car park at 11:00 hrs.
for a short walk around the centre of Burley
before returning to the Burley Inn car park
around 12:00 for lunch. For those not wishing to
walk please meet at the Hotel for 12:00 for
lunch. Please contact Ted if you wish to attend
as tables will have to be reserved.

John Lewis launch at 11:00 (to be confirmed).

Explore the castle and grounds including the
private beach, take a picnic to have in the
grounds, there is a coffee shop/bar to purchase
drinks and snacks. After lunch there is a talk
on the history of the island followed by a cream
tea. Note that this part of the island is not
admissible to the general public so it is a
fantastic opportunity to see the history and
insight of the castle. |
