Definitely a long, but very enjoyable day for all who came
along. The Twinning Wine Bar was in full flow. In addition,
we served tea, coffee, and snacks; ran a mobile Tombola, and
the ‘Kiddie’s Corner’ with sweets, marshmallow sticks and
activities to keep the little ones busy.
Thanks to all involved on the day – Clive, Sandra, Stuart,
Vivienne, Debbie, John, Avril, Barbara, Alec, Lesley & John,
and not forgetting our genuine onion seller, Sébastien.

Everyone had a
fantastic weekend with our guests from Liederbach.
On Saturday we had a
trip to Milestones Museum in Basingstoke and some
sightseeing in Winchester during the afternoon. Sunday was
spent at Highcliffe Castle followed by a lovely lunch at the
Hermitage Hotel on Bournemouth seafront. Speeches from both
Clive and Eva, and a presentation to Clive of a beautiful
sculpture. Finished off with a stroll along the beach to
work off all those calories!
Thanks to those
committee members that put the programme together, and to
Clive for being ‘Duty Driver’ all weekend.
